In July 2005, the Tiedgen reunion was held at Wendt's Lake north of Battle Creek, Nebraska.   Over 125 descendents of John F. Tiedgen and Margaret Gunkel attended the reunion.  A two day celebration was held with an auction, picnic lunch and dinner, fireworks, 4-wheeling, family pictures, and fishing.
